Classes

First Quarter:

​

K-2 will be learning rules and expectations of a Spanish classroom, fire and tornado drill procedures, students will learn our Spanish good morning and goodbye songs, numbers, colors, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and the countries Latin America.

​

3-5 will be learning rules and expectations of a positive learning environment for a Spanish classroom, will review our numbers and learning how to tell time in Spanish, Spanish greetings and phrases, create Spanish conversations with a partner, presentations, Spanish objects in the classroom, and the countries in Latin America.

Second and Third Quarters:

 

K-2 create a fun Thanksgiving and Holiday project, the days of the week song, the parts of the body, Spanish greetings, the weather, animals, shapes, feelings, family members, fruits/vegetables, the Personal Pronouns in Spanish and the Caribbean.  We will also create a fun Black History Month Project in Spanish.

3-5 create a fun Thanksgiving and holiday project in Spanish, we will be working with our partners very often and presenting Spanish conversations in front of the class.  Different places in the school, the months of the year/days of the week, Spanish vocabulary for times/day, family members, asking for help or directions in Spanish, common Spanish phrases, the weather, feelings and asking questions in Spanish such as what do you like to do, the Personal Pronouns in Spanish and The Caribbean.  We will also create a fun Black History Month Project in Spanish.

Fourth Quarter:

​

We will be working on prepositions, la familia-review, parts of the face in Spanish, Venezuela, Cinco de mayo, El dia de las madres, Colombia and the countries in Central and South America, and more fun Spanish activities.
